The crisis in tertiary education has become an area of priority for the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Over the past twelve months we have engaged with stakeholders at a number of South African universities.
We applaud the intervention at the University of the Witwatersrand which promises to see a meaningful dialogue involving all interested parties.
We wish the University well with this endeavour and hope that it can be replicated on a national level.
