The Nelson Mandela Foundation has been thinking carefully about how it can contribute to the mitigation of the spread of the COVID-19.
The evidence compellingly shows that the best way to protect people against the virus in the short-term is to minimise travel and group interactions as far as possible. We have therefore decided to avoid all international travel of the Foundation’s staff, suspend our guided tour offering at the Centre of Memory, and stop hosting events until we are sure that this can be done without exposing participants to unnecessary risk. All events that are already planned are postponed until further notice.
