The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation together with the Nelson Mandela Foundation on Tuesday, 28 March 2017 will hold a gathering & prayer session where the public will be given an update on Ahmed Kathrada’s (Uncle Kathy’s) health. The CEO of the Ahmed Kathrada Foundation, Neeshan Balton will give a post-surgery and recovery update of Mr Kathrada.
As the country sends messages of support, we encourage more people to join in sending well-wishing messages to our struggle veteran as he remains in hospital. If the messages are sent via social media please use #Kathrada.
You are also encouraged to post your messages in either video format or text accompanied by your picture with Mr Kathrada on social media. These messages will be shared tomorrow (Tuesday 28 March 2017) and delivered to Mr Kathrada and family by the two Foundations.
