It has come to the attention of the Nelson Mandela Foundation that a new digital scam – sent via email – is doing the rounds.
An email purporting to be from Mrs Graça Machel tells recipients they have been selected as an ambassador for the Nelson Mandela Foundation. It is not clear what is required of you should you reply.
The email comes with the subject line: “You ready for your coronation as Ambassador Nelson Mandela Foundation or not?”
There are no other details, and it is signed Graça Machel, Nelson Mandela Foundation.
Please be advised that this is a scam. The Foundation does not send unsolicited emails.
