Heath, Willem H

Heath is the Chief Executive Officer of Heath Specialist Consultants, Advocate Heath is well known internationally and in South Africa for his expertise in corruption, fraud and matters involving internal control.  His career began as a Prosecutor and thereafter as a member of the staff of the Attorney General, following which he started his own private practice in Pretoria as an advocate. He subsequently became a Judge of the High Court of South Africa.

From 1995 to 1997 he chaired a Commission of Enquiry into corruption, fraud, mal-administration and the negligent loss of State assets in the Eastern Cape. Then from 1997 until June 2001 he headed the Special Investigating Unit investing fraud, corruption, mal-administration, etc., and has done extensive research into management and financial systems in order to promote the work of the Unit.

He has presented papers on numerous occasions at international and national conferences and workshops on a variety of issues.
