An Extended Validation (EV) security certificate, which was recently implemented on the online donations page, ensures that donors’ confidential information stays safe from internet fraud, phishing scams and identity theft.
Donors can trust that their personal data remain encrypted and protected from third parties. There is also a visual cue that the site is protected. With high-security web browsers, the URL address bar turns green once you click on the link to donate.
