Last week saw most learners heading back to school, or perhaps for their first time.

And while most of us lamented over the mad rush to get things in our households ready for the start of the school year, there were four boys from SACS who were doing some very good work.

They had put together a project called “67 Kids to School” – and their goal was to raise R12 500 in order to kit out 67 children each with: A fabric carrier bag, school socks, school shoes, a school shirt, and stationery.

They're certainly doing their part to make every day a Mandela Day.
