In celebration of the legacy and memory of our icon and founding father of our democracy Nelson Mandela, the Gauteng City Region in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation is launching the Nelson Mandela Remembrance Walk at the Nelson Mandela Foundation on Tuesday, 11 November 2014.
The Walk will remember Madiba’s passage through Pretoria to his last resting place and celebrate his legacy.
The MEC for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation Molebatsi Bopape will host this launch with the Chief Executive of the Nelson Mandela Foundation Sello Hatang and veterans of our struggle, Andrew Mlangeni, Ahmed Kathrada and members of the Mandela Family.
