The following apology has been issued from news channel eNCA following video coverage that was aired last night:
"In an eNCA report broadcast last night a clip was included of an interview with the wife of Nelson Mandela, Graça Machel.
In it, Graça Machel spoke about Nelson Mandela's 'sparkle fading'.
eNCA would like to clarify that this was from an interview in 2009 and is not a current interview.
Graça Machel was not responding in any way to Madiba's current hospital stay.
eNCA regrets any confusion which may have been caused."
