Invitation to cover: 2019 Legacy Ride 4 Hope

2018 marked the inaugural year of the Legacy Ride4Hope with its prime purpose to raise awareness about the Nelson Mandela Centenary in Partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation. The Legacy Ride4Hope seeks to do this by means of a bicycle ride from the Mandela House in Soweto Vilakazi Street and finish at Nelson Mandela Capture Site, Howick. The ride makes stops in various towns from Soweto, Gauteng, Golden Gate, Free State and KwaZulu-Natal, making various donation to schools, connecting towns, cities, people and promoting active citizenship.

 Four day Cycle Ride: 28 -31 August 2019

Participants: 70 Cyclist/Riders comprised of Cycling enthusiast, Business people and celebrities committed to making a difference and changing lives, riding 550km in 4 days.

Total Distance: 550KM

DAY 1: Nelson Mandela House, Soweto, Gauteng – Heilbron, Free State (130KM)

DAY 2: Reitz, Free State – Golden Gate, Free State (110KM)

DAY 3: Golden Gate, Free State – Ladysmith, Kwazulu-Natal (180KM)

DAY 4: Ladysmith, Kwazulu-Natal – Howick, Kwazulu-Natal (140KM)
