Ossewa-Brandwag (Afrikaans, Oxwagon Sentinel) (OB)

The OB was formed in 1939 by conservative Afrikaners who objected to South Africa's participation in World War II. It was a para-military group with national socialist leanings; its so-called Stormtroopers formed a military wing that carried out acts of sabotage against the Smuts government.
