Mandela International Day 2011 launch

May 16, 2011 – You are invited to cover the 2nd launch of Nelson Mandela International Day 2011.
The speakers at the Mandela Day 2011 launch include:
- The UN Resident Co-ordinator: Agostino Zacharias
- Chief Executive of the Nelson Mandela Foundation: Achmat Dangor
- Mandela Family Representative: Luvuyo Mandela
- A diverse group of 6 students from different universities.
The students will share their views on:
What Madiba represents to them; Ways to change our world for the better; What Mandela Day activity they intend to undertake this year.
Details of the campaign will be provided, including information about Mandela Mondays, the 2011 youth focus, key dates and the launch of the Mandela Day PSA.
