Mandela International Day 2011 Launch

15 June, 2011

You are invited to the third Nelson Mandela Day 2011 media event, which takes place on Monday 20th of June at 11h00. Nelson Mandela Day was launched in 2009 on Nelson Mandela’s birthday – 18th July –  as a call to action for people everywhere to take responsibility for making the world a better place, one small step at a time, just as Nelson Mandela did.

The purpose of the launch is to set the context for a campaign that honours Madiba’s lifelong contribution towards making this a better world for all. As you know, the campaign has elicited widespread interest and support, both at home and globally. The slogan is “Take Action, Inspire Change.Make Every Day a Mandela Day.”
