12,4-million children to sing for Madiba

11 July, 2011 – In what will go down in history as an ambitious project to unite South Africans since the 2010 Soccer World Cup, the Nelson Mandela Foundation, jointly with the Ministry of Basic Education and LeadSA, will launch a massive campaign.
It hopes to mobilise the entire society to promote education, unity and social cohesion in honour of Madiba. It also supports the Mandela Day call for people to give at least 67 minutes of their time in positive action to benefit the community.
The Minister of Basic Education, Angie Motshekga, together with representatives from the Nelson Mandela Foundation and LeadSA will address the media.
