Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory extends condolences to family of Ilse Naude
31 December, 2011 – On behalf of our Founder, Chairperson, Trustees and Staff we wish to extend our deepest condolences to the family of Ilse Naude who passed away on Thursday at the age of 98.

3 November, 2011 – The Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory has been made aware of a new scam doing the rounds, this time sent via SMS. The Centre of Memory urges the public not to be fooled.

8 September, 2011 – The ninth Mandela Day container library officially opened on 7 September, 2011 in Valspan Primary School, Jan Kemp Dorp in the Northern Cape Province.

25 July, 2011 – The Ninth Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture was held on Saturday, 23 July, at the Linder Auditorium in Johannesburg. Before this year’s speaker, Professor Ismail Serageldin, took to the stage, Professor Jakes Gerwel, chairman of the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory, spoke about the Centre.
