Tributes
People in villages, towns, countries and cities throughout the world have seen fit to pay tribute to Mr Mandela by giving his name to a range of entities. Streets, highways, buildings, institutes and awards have been named for him. The list includes a nuclear particle, a landfill site, and a spider. He has also been made patron of many organisations.
