The Nelson Mandela Foundation and 46664 have called on people from around the world to honour Nelson Mandela’s 67-year commitment to public service and the fight for social justice by doing something good on Mandela Day. Launched on July 18, 2009, Nelson Mandela’s 91st birthday, Mandela Day asks people to pledge their time to help the communities they are in, in any way they see fit.
