Nelson Mandela AIDS Day Concert scam
The Nelson Mandela Foundation has learned of an online scam currently doing the rounds which claims that tickets to a Nelson Mandela AIDS Day concert are available online.
Users who follow the concert link on http://cheapconcertticketsnow.com, which offers cheap tickets to events around the world, are redirected to a page for A1 Books. A message on the A1 Books page reads: “A1 Books is down for server maintenance and will be back soon with a faster, better A1”.
No Nelson Mandela AIDS Day concert is being planned by the Nelson Mandela Foundation and 46664. Any invitation to purchase tickets to such an event is fraudulent and should be treated with extreme suspicion.
