Malibongwe book released
December 7, 2009 – The Nelson Mandela Foundation has released a book celebrating the three Malibongwe Dialogues that the Foundation has convened over the last three years.
Foundation publishes second Malibongwe booklet
Oct 29, 2008 – Following the success of the Malibongwe Dialogue, held on August 22 this year, the Nelson Mandela Foundation has published the second Malibongwe igama lamakhosikazi booklet.
A result of a collaboration between the Nelson Mandela Centre of Memory and Dialogue, the National Youth Commission and the Department of Arts and Culture, this dialogue was aimed at charting a way forward for the participation of women in the economy. The event was attended by more than 250 participants from business, government and civil society.
Women unite to accept responsibility
Aug 22, 2008 – Women need to empower one another, to raise themselves and society as a whole. This was the message from the Malibongwe Dialogue held at the Sandton Convention Centre this morning.
Women of different ages and walks of life from all over South Africa joined together to discuss the challenges women face in the new South Africa – and ways to solve them.
